School distance can also come into play. Deer Valley Elementary is close and convenient, which is a big draw for many families. As students move on to Bumpus Middle and Hoover High, the drive becomes longer and may require more planning. Thankfully, Hoover City Schools has a wonderful transportation program, and bus service is available.
